1. Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on Lunest infringes your copyright, send a written notice containing all of the following (DMCA §512(c)(3)) to [email protected] with subject "DMCA Takedown":
- Your physical or electronic signature (typed name is acceptable).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material with enough detail to locate it — e.g., the post URL (
lunestapp.com/post/<id>), username, and/or screenshots. - Your contact information (name, mailing address, email, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices may be rejected. Knowingly false claims may expose you to liability under §512(f).
2. What Happens After a Valid Notice
- We promptly remove or disable access to the reported material and notify the posting user.
- We may share your notice (including contact details) with the posting user and, where required, with public repositories of takedown notices.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, send a counter-notice to [email protected] with subject "DMCA Counter-Notice" containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the US, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found) and accepting service of process from the original complainant.
Upon a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after 10–14 business days unless the complainant informs us they have filed a court action.
4. Repeat Infringers
Users who repeatedly infringe copyrights will have their accounts terminated. We track valid takedown notices and apply a repeat-infringer policy at our discretion (typically multiple valid notices).
5. Türkiye (FSEK — 5846 sayılı Kanun)
Copyright holders in Türkiye may submit notices under the same process; your rights under Turkish intellectual property law are fully preserved. Contact: [email protected].
6. Trademark & Other Rights
For trademark, publicity, or other IP violations (not copyright), email [email protected] with the subject "IP Complaint" and the same identifying details.
